Disclaimer
ContractBeam (the "Service", available at https://contractbeam.com) helps you discover U.S. federal contracting and grant opportunities. Please read this Disclaimer carefully before relying on anything you find here.
Data Comes From Public Sources — and May Be Wrong
ContractBeam aggregates information from public government data sources, including:
- SAM.gov — federal contract solicitations
- Grants.gov — federal grants
- USASpending.gov — awarded contracts
We also include a small set of sample seed data.
Because this data is pulled and re-organized from outside sources, it may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Source records can change, be corrected, or be withdrawn after we collect them, and there can be gaps or delays between the official source and what appears on ContractBeam. We do not independently verify the underlying records.
What We Collect About You — and How It Personalizes the Service
You can use ContractBeam without creating an account. We do not ask for or store a login, password, name, email address, payment details, or precise location, and we do not use fingerprinting or third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. (We do use Vercel's cookieless Web Analytics and Speed Insights, plus an anonymous aggregate search log — none of which identifies you.)
Instead, the Service relies on an anonymous, first-party visitor cookie (named tv) that holds a randomly generated visitor id. This id is pseudonymous — it is not tied to your real-world identity — and is used to personalize what you see and to measure how the Service is used. The cookie lasts up to 2 years. Clearing the tv cookie severs the link between you and the data associated with that id.
Tied to that anonymous id, we record:
- Your behavior on the Service — events such as searches (with truncated query text), impressions, views, saves, unsaves, dismissals, bid-link clicks, filter use, and profile changes, along with the related facets (NAICS code, agency, set-aside, state, source, and opportunity type).
- Opportunities you save as bookmarks.
- A self-declared business profile you may voluntarily fill in (NAICS codes, set-asides, states, and keywords). This is the strongest personalization signal and is editable; updating it overwrites the prior version.
We use this information to rank and recommend opportunities and to understand how the Service is used. We also briefly process your IP address as a rate-limiting key to protect the Service; it is held in memory only and is never stored.
Retention: your behavior events, saved opportunities, and business profile are kept indefinitely (the profile until you overwrite it, and saves until you remove them). Our personalization and ranking are best-effort and based only on these limited signals.
Our hosting and database providers process this data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting, edge proxy, and serverless functions, which handle requests including IP addresses) and Neon (serverless Postgres storing opportunities, events, saves, and profiles).
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the data tied to your visitor id, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, port it, and object to certain processing (GDPR Articles 15, 16, 17, 20, and 21), as well as the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information. Erasure is handled manually rather than through a self-service tool, so please contact us to make a request. You can also clear the tv cookie at any time to sever the link to your data.
Not Legal, Financial, or Procurement Advice
Nothing on ContractBeam is legal, financial, or procurement advice. The Service is an informational tool only. It does not tell you whether you are eligible for an opportunity, whether you should bid, or how to prepare or submit a response. For decisions that matter, consult a qualified professional.
We Are Independent — Not a Government Site
ContractBeam is an independent project operated by NexarionFlux AI LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any U.S. government agency, department, or program. That includes, but is not limited to, SAM.gov, Grants.gov, and USASpending.gov.
Any government agency names, opportunity numbers, contact details, or other identifiers shown on ContractBeam are drawn from public records and are displayed for reference only. Contact names and emails attached to an opportunity are public government points of contact taken from the source data — they are not ContractBeam's contacts, and they are not visitor data.
Always Confirm on the Official Source
ContractBeam is a starting point, not the last word. Before you act on anything you find here — including spending time, money, or effort on a bid — always confirm the details, eligibility requirements, and deadlines on the official government source. The official source controls. If what you see on ContractBeam differs from the official record, the official record is correct.
External Links Are Not Endorsements
ContractBeam may link to government websites and other external pages so you can verify information at its source. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices. A link is provided for convenience only and is not an endorsement of the linked site or its operator.
No Guarantee of Award or Outcome
Using ContractBeam does not improve, guarantee, or influence your chances of winning a contract, receiving a grant, or achieving any particular result. Our personalization and ranking features are based on the limited signals available to us and are best-effort only. We make no guarantee of any award or outcome, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on the Service.
"As Is"
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or current.
