4CAB Service Petroleum Oils and Lubricant Shelter Repair
Amendment 0001- The purpose of this amendment is to publish the questions received in response to the solicitation, along with their corresponding answers and photos. CONTRACTORS MUST ACKNOWLEDGE THE AMENDMENT. The contractor shall remove outdated heating and electrical components and install new, fully functional systems tailored to each shelter’s needs. Work includes replacing the existing 10kW, 34K BTU electric heaters in Shelters 1 and 2; installing new non-explosion-proof light and fan switch kits (two-switch assemblies) in all applicable shelters; and providing new explosion-proof interior light assemblies in Shelters 2 and 3. All repairs must ensure the shelters meet operational requirements for the safe storage of petroleum, oil, and lubricants and restore reliable environmental control across the facility.
